MINUTES
- Meeting called to order at 10:10
- Approval of May 7, 2003 minutes
- Approval of Treasurer's report
- Correspondence from:
- Approval of coop between Berlin and Shanksville in Junior High
- Information received concerning track coaches inside track area during district meet and not working the meet. Committee will consider disqualifications if happens again in the future.
- Letter to Turkeyfoot Superintendent, Ron Keifer, concerning use of illegal elementary student in a Junior High Basketball game.
- Championships:
- Track and Field Championship will probably move to Northern Bedford in 2005
- Discussion of letter from McConnellsburg requesting a change back to 12 teams in the baseball and softball championships.
- Larry Palmer will attend a Treasurer's In-service on July 16 & 17 at PIAA office on uniform accounting
- Motion to go into executive session
- Basketball chairmen will work on Playoff Formats for the August meeting. Approval for Dave Koba to attend the July 17th, 18 PIAA meeting and Tony Crisafulli to attend the Volleyball Steering Committee meeting on June 24 in place of Dawn Maluchnik
- The committee worked on the 2003-2004 District 5 Handbook the rest of the meeting. It will be given out to all schools at the August meeting.
