   6. Women’s Law Project - court case concerning female soccer. In the west soccer if played in the fall, in the east it is played in the spring. Boys soccer is played in the fall. The lawsuit contends there should be one girls soccer season.

1. The committee meeting convened at 1:35 p.m.
2. The committee voted to raise the district mileage rate to .40 per mile.
3. The secretary 's report of June 8, 2005 meeting was approved.

7. New Business
   1. Richland made a proposal to host District 5 Class A football championship.  After a discussion of playoff sites, the committee voted to keep our football championship game in District 5. 
   2. Approval of sponsorship of sports
      1. Rifle - Shade pending board approval
      2. Girls Soccer - McConnellsburg
      3. Cross Country    Berlin, Rockwood.  Berlin and Rockwood requested a cooperative but it was approved because they have not complied with PIAA guidelines. 
   3. School enrollment for the 2006 to 2008 cycle is due October 15.  PIAA fine of $1000 if not in.
