MINUTES

1. Meeting convened at 2:00
2. The secretary's report of August 3, 2005 was approved
3. Approval of treasurer's report

5. Approval of foreign exchange students
6. Correspondence to:
   1. Approval from District 6 for District 5 to compete in the following sports
      1. AA Football
      2. Cross Country
      3. Field Hockey
      4. AA Girls Volleyball
      5. AA Boys Soccer
      6. Swimming
   2. The web site is done due to changes at PIAA office (now up and running)
7. Correspondence From:
   1. The PIAA has ruled that all students attending PIAA schools that have been displaced by Hurricane Katrina can play sports this school year.  The rules are to be relaxed for the year.
   2. The PIAA has approved Shade athletes wearing initial stickers this school year due to the death of two female athletes.
   3. District 5 will receive balls for the fall sports from a Wilson contract
   4. PIAA approval of Windber/Shade coop in wrestling and soccer
   5. The PIAA has given Windber permission to wear volleyball uniforms with numbers
   6. Approval to amend the original motion and to include the Junior High in Johnstown Christian's membership application into District 5
8. The students were approved for athletic eligibility on an individual basis
9. Reports were presented by chairmen of football, cross country, golf, girls tennis, girls soccer, and boys soccer on the status of district championship ratings and championship procedures.
